Coming home rather late after a day of heavy rainfall. 13 February 2010.

A lone portulaca has sprouted and flourished on the edge of the gutter
in the front yard. They've been self-seeding in the back yard
for several years but none emerged this year. Somehow this tiny,
lone seed made it into the front. 14 February 2010.

It seems appropriate that a prehistoric Wollemi pine's pot
should harbour a very prehistoric-looking toadstool! 15 February 2010.

Hi, careful of that, i had a similar yellow 'stool' pop up in my favorite plant, a few weeks later the plant was as dead as a door nail, dunno if it was the fungus, i even took a pic of the 'stool' as it looked so pretty and yellow.
