The Visible Man

You know, I've been in my current school for over four and a half years but, in 2007, I'm suddenly highly visible: known to every student and, seemingly, someone worth greeting with a warm or excited "Hello!" in the playground, school corridors and even the shopping centre and the local streets.

Teacher-librarians certainly seem to carry a prestige or an aura about them. I'd quite forgotten the feeling, seeing it's been nine years since I was last in that position in a school.

I love it!
