Week 9: Tree
My second ever attempt at scenic watercolour. This is my outdoor pine tree, as decorated for Christmas. Watercolours on white acrylic gesso primed canvas sheet.
Update: I decided to have another go at both crosshatching and trees!

I'm thrilled I managed to get the reflections and shadows consistent on each bauble. The little "box hedge" resembles a gift under the tree. I'm thinking there is room at the bottom of the painting for a personalised Christmas message, so I guess I've already designed this year's card.
